I am just an ordinary girl, in an ordinary world who loves to share her writing with you all, so please come and check out my daily blog, you won't regret it.
So I was going to write about these delicious Cinnamon Rolls that I made…. but then I didn’t actually end up making the delicious Cinnamon Rolls.
Instead I decided to write about driving and whether I am for it or against it. I am most definitely without a doubt AGAINST it. For most people getting their drivers licence is the most exciting milestone ever. For me it wasn’t like that, I love the feeling of independence that comes with it and the fact that I can go anywhere is great. I just find it to be a bit of a drag and I didn’t really take to it as well as other people did.
What I do love though is road trips to the coast or the mountains, and after lockdown that is something that I plan on doing.
What are your thoughts on driving, are you for it or against it?

While we have been stuck in lockdown, I decided to try something new, and decided to start contemporary dancing. I have been taking lessons online, I love it so much that I have decided to join a contemporary dancing studio, so far, it is the best decision I have made.
Dancing will always be a passion of mine and I think contemporary suits me well. It is such a strong and emotional dance, when I do contemporary dancing I feel like I am in a different world, a world with no stresses and I can just let go and be free. The online classes I have been taking and talking to you guys is what’s getting me through this lockdown.
What are your passions and what are you doing to cope with the lockdown ?
The best way to start your day off is by making a delicious creamy coffee, here is the recipe for you.
Ingredients for creating whipped coffee is;
Instant coffee
Sugar
Hot water
Milk (or plant-based milk alternative)
Ingredients using cream or milk
Instant coffee
Sugar
Cream
Hot milk
Instructions
Step 1– Add 2 tbsp instant coffee, 5 tbsp sugar, 2 US tbsp hot water to your mixing bowl.
Step 2– Use a whisk to whip the coffee until it turns creamy. The coffee mix should turn foamy within the first minute of mixing. Continue to whisk the mixture until it turns frothy and then creamy. It should look like mousse when it is ready to be mixed into the milk.
Step 3– Add ice to a glass and fill half the glass with milk. Place a few cubes in the bottom of your glass. Then you must pour the milk over the ice, depending on the size of your glass. If you want a warm drink then use hot milk instead of cold.
Step 4– Spoon the coffee cream over your glass of milk. Scoop out a dollop of whipped cream and place it into the glass. Add as much coffee as you like to the milk. It is easier to fill half your glass with milk and half with coffee cream. If you prefer stronger coffee, add more milk than coffee cream.
Step 5- Stir the coffee into your milk to combine them. Use your spoon to gently stir the coffee cream into the milk blend them together. Taste your whipped coffee to see if you like it.
Instructions to making creamy coffee using cream and milk
Step 1– Take a spoon of instant coffee and add it in a mug.
I hope all of the moms had a wonderful Mothers Day and got spoilt by your family.
Today I decided to share 5 things you didn’t know about me.
For most of my life I had wanted to become a professional tennis player, I competed in SATA tournaments and even went to a tennis academy for about 6 months. When I got out of the academy I took a bit of a break from tennis, during this break I had started doing ballroom and latin dancing and then that ended up being my new ultimate passion. I still play a bit of tennis, just not as much as I used to.
A couple of years ago when my family and I went to go visit my family on the South Coast, my Aunty introduced me to Reiki. Ever since then, I have taken a big interest in studying Reiki. I stopped it for a while because I got busy with other things, but now I am studying it again and I absolutely love it. She also introduced me to Numerology, I don’t read about it as much as the Reiki, but I still find it very fascinating.
Ever since I was at Lonehill academy, I had always taken an interest in writing, I would like to thank my English teacher for that, he was probably my favourite teacher. I wanted to follow in the footsteps of my icon Shonda Rhymes and publish a screenplay, but I never really acted on it, I normally just like to write for myself and then blog for all of you.
Since I was a little girl, my worst fear has been heights, I think I got that trait from my dad because he also hates heights. I remember when I was at Brescia House and we went on camp once and we had to do fufu sliding, I told my teacher I was too afraid to and so we made a deal that if I didn’t do that, I had to do abseiling and bless my soul, I thought it had something to do with water, little did I know it was climbing off the edge of a rock, that was probably the scariest thing I have ever done in my life.
Last but not least, I like to do arty things in my free time, such as, painting, doing mosaics, and working on my diamond paintings (it is basically like paint by numbers, but you use gems instead of paint).
This past month has been a whirlwind of emotions, some happy, some sad.
A lot of people are getting really agitated while waiting for the lockdown to be lifted, so this is just something to help you get through this.
When you are worried that the lockdown will never get lifted, just think about the first thing you are going to do when it does get lifted properly, and just hold onto it. For me, the very first thing I am going to do is go straight to the dancing studio and dance my heart out.
Whenever you are feeling negative, replace your thoughts with something positive and I guarantee you will feel so much better. If you don’t, then comment on this post and I will reply to you.
