My Top 7 Favourite Books Day 3

Hey everyone

The next book I have decided to tell you guys about is called Holding The Dream and it was written about one the best authors so far, Nora Roberts.

When I first started reading “grown up” novels, her books were the very first ones I read, and for a while she was my absolute favourite Author, I have pretty much read all of her books.

This particular book is about a girl named Kate who gets fired from her firm for suspected embezzlement, right before she was on a fast track to becoming a partner. To help Kate cope with the sudden changes in her work career, she returns to Pretenses, the exquisite boutique run by her friend Margo and sister Laura. When persistent, persuasive Byron de Witt enters her life, the flames of passion he ignites begin to burn as brightly as her all-consuming career ambitions.

Hey everyone

I am going to have to put a pause on my 7 favourite books challenge so that I can talk to you guys about an absolutely adorable dog named Harvey.

Please help bring this adorable Bulldog home so that he can see his family again.

My Top 7 Favourite Books- Day 2

Hey everyone

The next book I have chosen is by another one of my favourite Authors, it is called Hope by Lesley Pearse.

This is a book about a girl named Hope. Hope was smuggled away from the Harveys and Briargate House to a nearby village. Hope grows up in a loving home with the Renton family, but she is very uncertain of her identity.  A chain of events forces Hope to lead a vagabond’s existence until she finds the courage to fight back and prove herself to be a fearless and able nurse, a vocation that takes her to the horrific battlefields of the Crime

Hopes secrets from the past aren’t done and she must return to England to face the legacy of her birth.

This is a truly inspirational book to read because it shows you the true meaning of what it means to be strong and hardworking.

Top 7 Favourite Books- Day 1

Hey everyone

It is time for a new challenge, my top 10 favourite books.

The first one is actually a series of books called The Seven Sisters. It’s about 6 adopted sisters who lost their father in a tragic boat accident. Each sister has their own book explaining where they came from.

Their father left them each a clue as to where to start their search, I have read the first 3 books at the moment and it is by far my favourite series. The books are called The Seven Sisters, The Moon Sister, The Shadow Sister, The Storm Sister, The Sun Sister and The Pearl Sister.

I highly recommend you guys read these books and let me know what you think.

Lessons Learnt

Hey everyone

Throughout this year, I have learnt a lot of important life lessons, but the most important life lesson I have learnt is that you must always live life to the fullest.

You never know what could happen at a moments notice, so don’t focus on the bad things in life and do all of the things that you have always wanted to do, because life truly is too short. I used to be one of those people that was too shy to talk to someone, and then I decided to join dancing and went to socials and learnt how to socialise with other people and it had truly helped me to grow as a person and I couldn’t be more grateful for that.

I love my life and I would never do anything to change it and I will forever continue to live life to the fullest.

I hope you will as well.

Dance Through Life

Hey everyone

I hope lockdown is treating you well.

About 2 days ago I found out that some dance studios are finally opening and I am so excited, this is the news I have been waiting to hear for so long now.

I can’t wait until I can stop having dancing lessons over zoom and actually go to the studio, because the dancing studio is truly my home away from home, I probably don’t need to tell you that though because I have mentioned my love for dancing in quite a lot of blog posts now.

Dancing is truly my ultimate stress releaser and my way to express myself in a positive way.

Imperfection is underrated. Perfection Is Overrated

Hey everyone

Today I decided to write about my favourite quote of all time “Imperfection is underrated. Perfection Is Overrated”.

This quote means a lot to me, because I have always been the type of person that has wanted everything to be perfect, mostly with dancing, art and work. This quote helps me realise that perfection is just a state of mind.

If any of you are OCD or just perfectionists, then please use this quote to basically just make your lives a little bit easier. In my opinion, perfect does not exist, because it is close to impossible to be perfect all the time and I am slowly but surely beginning to realise that.

What is your favourite quote ?

The Pros And Cons Of Social Media

Hey everyone

The past couple of days I have working with social media quite a lot and have discovered the good things as well as the not so good things about it. So that is why I decided to write a blog post on social media.

Lets start with the cons;

I have found that with social media, you never know who you are socialising with or who is following you, they could be a legit person or they could be a stalker. If you haven’t put your account onto private, anybody can see your private information which is not a very good thing. Bullies can post really inappropriate things about somebody else and really hurt their feelings or make them feel very self conscious. People can hack into your account and pretend to be you.

There are a lot more cons to social media, but I don’t want to put you guys off social media all together.

Here are the pros of social media.

If you are running a business, social media is a very good way to put yourself out there and reach potential clients. You could make new friends or connect with people that you haven’t seen in a really long time, my sister got in contact with someone she used to go to school with and they are now best friends. Social media gives you a chance to educate people in a completely different way. If you are a student, you can follow other students or education pages to learn more. You can also get recruited by colleges based on the videos and images you post on social media. Just by stating your opinion on a blog, you could help a lot of people.

For me, there are more pros then cons where social media is concerned, it would just take me all day to type out all of the pros, so I just named a few.

Thank you for reading my blog post, tomorrow I have a really cool post that I will be making, so tune in tomorrow to read my next blog post. Don’t forget that if you have any comments on the posts that I make, then you can just comment on either this blog post or any other blog post, or you could comment on my Facebook page.
