Hey everyone

At the beginning of lockdown I was going crazy because I was so bored and I had cabin fever. At the end of the second week, I tried to think of things to do, but I couldn’t think of anything, and so I went onto social media to get ideas.

When I looked on social media, I got a lot of good ideas. I saw people were making TikTok videos, they do different challenges, they exercise in their gardens and online, basically just making the most of their time at home.

So I looked at all of those things and decided I would try some of them. I made a TikTok video, I have been painting and drawing, I made up my own challenges on my blog, I am doing dancing online and yoga online, I have also been baking a lot of biscuits. My mom, dad and I made a little tennis court in the driveway and used a table as a net.

Today we went for a bit of a walk around the estate and there were so many people walking their dogs in the 3 hours that we had been given.

Hey everyone

The last and final movie I have chosen is call Always Be My Maybe. It is a very romantic movie about 2 childhood friends Sasha and Marcus, who have not seen each other since their very brief fling when they were teenagers ended badly. When Sasha returns to San Francisco to open up a restaurant, they realise that their romantic chemistry is still there. Their new relationship has had challenges because of Marcus’s fears and Sasha’s fame and demanding job as a chef.

This movie is very beautiful and is highly recommended.

The last and final series I have chosen is called Stranger Things. This series is about a 12 year old boy named Will who goes missing. When Wills mother Joyce realises that he is missing, she starts an investigation with local authorities to try and find him. As they search for him, they come across some extraordinary surprises involving government experiments, super natural forces and a very strange yet interestingly helpful little girl.

This movie is a sci-fi horror that has a lot of surprises and secrets.

Hey everyone

The sixth movie I have chosen is called Mama Mia. This is a fun and loving musical about a young bride who is trying to find herself before her wedding, there is no better way to do that than finding your father. After reading her mothers diary, she decides to invite all 3 of her possible dad’s to her wedding without her mother and fiancé knowing.

This is a movie starring the extremely talented Meryl Streep, Pierce Brosnan, Colin Firth, Stellan Skarsgård, Dame Julie Walters, Christine Baranski and last but not least Amanda Seyfried.

The sixth series I have chosen is called Orphan Black. This is a thriller with a bit of drama and it is about a women named Sarah who takes the identity of a lady who commits suicide at a train station who looks exactly like her. Sarah is an orphan who is not very wealthy. She thinks that if she takes over the identity of somebody who is richer than her and spend all of the money she has in her account then everything will be solved and her and her daughter can live a safer life.

Little did Sarah know, her problems start to multiply, and so does she.

Hey everyone

The fifth movie I have chosen is called To All The Boys I Loved Before. This is a movie about a young introvert named Lara Jean. Lara Jean never admits her feelings for a boy, so she decides to do is write love letters to all of the boys that she has had a crush on, and keeps them in a box for safe keeping.

Lara Jean wrote 5 Love letters, one of the letters was written about her sisters boyfriend Josh. After her letters get mailed without her knowing, Lara Jean has to pretend that she is dating somebody else so that Josh doesn’t think that she likes him anymore. This movie is very good, but at some points in the movie, you have those moments where you want to throw the remote at the TV because of the romance drama. I definitely recommend this movie to all of the romance lovers.

The fifth series I have chosen is called Pretty Little Liars. This series is more for teens who love a murder mystery with a bit of romance. It is about 4 high school girls who had a fallout when their leader Alison disappeared during a slumber party that they had. A couple years later, the girls are forced to reunite when attending Alison’s funeral.

When the girls start to receive messages from an anonymous person called “A”, whose number one goal is to expose all of their secrets. The girls must now stick together and try to stop “A” before all of their secrets come out and start to ruin all of their personal relationships.

The fourth movie I have chosen is called The Notebook. This is a true love story about a poor boy named Noah who meets a rich girl named Allie and they fall madly in love with each other. They have their arguments, but at the end of the day, the love that they have for each other is stronger than any of the arguments they have.

After being separated from each other for so many years, they eventually find their way back to each other. It’s like the saying goes “if you love something let it go, if it comes back it’s yours, if not then it wasn’t yours to begin with”

This a true Nicholas Sparks movie starring Rachel McAdams and Ryan Gosling.

The fourth series I have chosen is called Suits. This is a series about a a college dropout named Mike who lives with his childhood friend named Trevor. Mike started taking the bar test for people in order to make money to pay for his own law school. When Harvard found out what he had been doing, they told him that he couldn’t attend school there.

While the law firm Pearson Hardman were having interviews for a new associate for new senior partner Harvey Spector, Mike was coincidently at the same hotel and accidentally came to an interview in place of someone else. Harvey was very impressed with Mike’s knowledge and personality. Knowing that Mike was a fraud, Harvey offered him a job anyways because he believed in Mike.

The whole series is based on Mike’s secret and how him and Harvey are trying hard to keep his secret.

The third movie I have chosen is called When Harry Met Sally. This is a very old movie, it is about 2 strangers who drive down to college together, and on their way there, they discuss whether or not a man and women can be friends without sexual tension getting in the way.

Whenever I have a friend who is a guy and I don’t have any romantic interest in, my dad always refers back to this movie, because he firmly believes that a man and a women cannot just be friends.

The third series I have chosen is also an oldie, it is called Gilmore Girls. It is about a mother named Lorelai and her daughter Rory and their lives where they live in a little town called Stars Hollow. It’s a show filled with love, friendships, heartbreak, drama and comedy. Lorelai and Rory are more like best friends than mother and daughter.

If you are in the mood for a happy and good feeling series, then this is definitely the right series for you.

They have now even brought out a new version of the series called Gilmore Girls A Year In The Life, it basically a spinoff from the Gilmore Girls series, basically showing what has happened in their lives after Rory graduates from Yale.

The second movie I have chosen is called Little Italy. It is about a young couple falling in love, while there is a war between their families’ competing pizza restaurants. It has romance, drama and a little hint of comedy in it, it is a nice movie to watch with the family.

The second series I have chosen is called The Fosters. This is a show that I have just recently started watching and I am slowly falling inlove with it. It is about the lives of police officer Stef Adams Foster and her wife Lena Adams Foster, a school vice principal, and their multi-ethnic, blended family. Stef and Lena are the parents of Brandon Foster, who is Stef’s biological son, and the twins, Jesus and Mariana, who were adopted as small children, but then two new arrivals join the family, and that is where things start to get interesting. It is a mixture of romance, comedy and drama, this show truly keeps you on your toes and definitely gives you a couple of surprises.

The first movie I have decided to share with you is called Burlesque. This is my absolute favourite movie.

It is about a small-town girl who ventures to Los Angeles and finds her place in a neo-burlesque club run by a former dancer and she also finds romance along the way.

The series I have decided to share with you is called Greys Anatomy. This is my favourite series, I am pretty sure I have seen it over 15 times from the first season. It is about doctors and their jobs, love life, friendships. There are some sad moments and some happy moments, but all in all it is definitely the best show ever.

Hey everyone

A birthday is the most important day in a persons life.

It is a celebration of bringing new life into the world. It is the one day in a year that belongs to 1 specific person and its a celebration of that specific person.

Growing one year older is not always a bad thing, sometimes it is a blessing in disguise. For 12 year olds, turning 13 is a big step because it means that they are in their first year of being a teenager. For 17 year olds, turning 18 is a big step because it is the year you get your drivers licence.

My point is that, even though you are getting older, you are also getting wiser and learning more things. My mom always says “I don’t mind lines on my face because every line is a reminder of things that have happened in my life”.

My birthday is my favourite day in the year, this year I am turning 21 which is very exciting, because it is a huge step.

Hey everyone

A lot of people don’t have drivers licenses for a number of different reasons, and so whenever they want to go out with their friends they always need to ask their parents for a lift. Sometimes their parents say yes and other times they don’t because they are busy and so then you don’t get to see your friend.

I have never been one of those people that absolutely love to drive, I just find it to be a pain. After being in lockdown for so long, I realised that I am so grateful for the fact that I can go out whenever I want because, I don’t need to ask people for lifts. Although I am still not a huge fan of driving, I really do appreciate it a lot more than I did before lockdown.
