Hey everyone
So it has definitely been a while since I last posted on my blog and I must say that a ton of crazy things have happened to me.
In April I decided to take a leap of faith and I resigned from Jozi Padel to venture into a new career called Tumbling Tigerz. At Tumbling Tigerz, we work with kids between the ages of 2 and 6 years old and we travel to different schools around Joburg, a very tiring but rewarding job. We do obstacle courses and games with them that work on their hand eye coordination and improve their motor skills. This job has definitely taken me out of my comfort zone a couple times due to the fact that I have to drive a lot and often very far distances, the reason why I say this is taking me out of my comfort zone is because I am a very anxious person especially when it comes to driving far distances and so therefore I tend to stick to my little bubble.
After working at Tumbling Tigerz for about 3 months, I decided that I needed to resign because of reasons that were out of my control. Even though I loved the job so much, it just was not the right fit for me. I then decided to accept a job at Match Padel in Cedar Square…. I guess all roads lead back to Padel. It has been a completely chaotic ride for me, but I have no regrets.
After leaving Tumbling Tigerz, I am now only working my shifts at Match Padel and I am actually really happy there, I like the people I am working with and I like how organized everything is. I work a lot with the court coordinating, tournaments, socials, coaching etc…
So that is basically what my life currently looks like and even though it has been tough lately, I am very grateful to be where I am.
