Hey guys
I hope all of the ladies had a spectacular Women’s Day yesterday and felt very spoiled and special.
I celebrated Women’s Day in the best way possible with all of my lovely friends and family. At work we had a ladies day event where we started by doing 30 minutes of Pilates which was so amazing and definitely worked every muscle in my body (I really felt it the next day). After we did the Pilates we did about 2 or 3 hours of a Padel Tournament, 7 rounds of a round robin and then semi’s and finals and there were no winners prizes or losers prizes, all 56 of us walked away with something special in the form of a nice hamper which made us all feel very special.
After having a tiring but rewarding and fun time on the Padel court, we were treated to a very delicious buffet breakfast, we had some scrambled eggs, bacon, pork sausage, toast, mushrooms, beans and delicious chocolate cake for dessert. All of the tables were also decorated so beautifully with biscuits and flowers on each table.
Padel is such an amazing sport and it is truly an awesome way to have events and celebrate special holidays and occasions. It is a fun and easy game to play, basically anyone can play it, even if you have never played a ball sport in your life for example Tennis or Squash. I can say with absolute certainty that I am 100% hooked and addicted to this game.
Normally I am definitely not a morning person but getting up at 05:15 to play Padel was definitely worth it. (I had to get up that early so that I could help bring all the boxes to the German Country Club where the event had taken place).
Every Wednesday morning we have what we call a “ladies morning” and this is where we just do the Pilates and the Padel which is super fun and I think you can guess how tired all of us ladies were when we did that, and especially doing the Pilates again, but all the pain was worth it because I always feel good after playing a good game of Padel and the Pilates was fun to.
I just want to end this post with a quote “The purpose of our lives is to be happy”
I hope you all enjoyed reading this post
